Slam Dunking Kings

Slam Dunking

How Many Slam Dunks Can You Do?

Have you ever participated in a slam dunk contest? If not, you’re completely missing out. Some of the best slam dunks ever were done by NBA players in the middle of one contest or another.

Most average people like you and me think we could never be slam dunking like these NBA kings. Nothing, however, could be further from the truth! It all comes from practice. Seriously, do you think the type of Michael Jordan slam dunk happens just because Michael Jordan is Michael Jordan?

No!

The man had to practice and improve his game. How did he do it? What kind of basketball exercises did he do to be able to start making basketball slam dunks one right after the other?

Michael Jordan the slam dunking king

Did he do vertical jump exercises? Was there some magical formula? Some pixie dust that caused him to fly toward the hoop?

Of course not. There was simply hard work. If you put forth that kind of effort, you could be slam dunking the way Mike did back in the day. Now, if you want to learn to slam dunk, you absolutely need to improve your vertical jump. If you can’t jump, you can’t be a slam dunking king, now can you? You gotta learn to jump higher.

Just remember this. Slam dunk champions are made. They are not born. Think about Kobe Bryant’s slam dunks. Or Lebron James slam dunks.

When you think of them, if you watch some of their stuff on Youtube etc. you could probably learn how to jump higher. (You would at least get some good ideas just by watching and copying them.) You can theoretically teach yourself how to jump higher.

And seriously…you don’t have to take time out to go shopping for shoes to jump higher either.

Just get to work on the exercises. Practice. That’s the bottom line.
